Amy’s journey with grief began at an early age, attending numerous funerals before she was even a teenager. Tragedy seemed to follow her, from the sudden and unexplained death of her mother to the unexpected passing of close friends. However, the most devastating event came eight years ago with the murder of a beloved family member—an act that shattered their world. She and her boyfriend rushed home only to find their house under police investigation. The trauma of the event created deep ripples through every aspect of their lives.

Following the murder, Amy’s household changed drastically. They went from six to nine people, with limited space and constant noise and tension. Amy, who had just completed her “30 Days to Happiness” program, struggled to maintain the peace and joy she once cultivated. Over time, the toxic environment eroded her own sense of wellbeing, forcing her to leave and move back to her own home with her children. Although she stayed with her partner, the emotional wounds ran deep and healing proved slow and difficult.

Amy’s children were severely impacted. Without the same support resources as the other children involved, her kids internalized their trauma. They became withdrawn, depressed, and even suicidal. One of her sons, vigilant and protective, rarely slept and developed mental health struggles. These challenges led Amy to train in trauma and parenting, not only for her kids but also to help others. Her personal development journey became a shared path of healing for the family, based on open communication and mutual support.

Now, Amy is reclaiming her life and joy. She has returned to her creative roots—music, art, and travel—and is shifting her business focus to help organizations and families thrive. Through her work, she’s turning pain into purpose, creating programs that encourage healing, authenticity, and growth.
