Have you been on a fitness and nutrition journey like I have? For the first 30 years of my life I could eat and drink anything I wanted and I stayed slim.

But, once I turned 30 the pounds started piling on. In conjunction with that, I was less active. Life got busy and exercising became a thing of the past.

One year I dropped 60 pounds, but a few years later it all came back –and it brought its friends! Once the scale tipped 200 I decided I really needed to get this under control.

But I’d been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. At that time I was told by my doctor that when I exercised I couldn’t overexert myself. I needed to keep my heart rate below 120.

Well, as soon as I started walking my heart rate shot up over 120 –because I was out of shape! Also, with Fibro I don’t recover from the workout as quickly as people without it. So, I’d often be laid up later that day or the next day when I did an intense workout. Needless to say, that didn’t last long.

I’ve tried different diets, but nothing made a significant difference. I was able to get down to 189 and stayed there for a several years. I knew I was obese and if I am being honest, I was okay with it. The results show the truth and I wasn’t releasing weight, so deep down I was content at 189.

Two years ago we got a puppy. I walk her every morning so now I’m getting some exercise, but not enough to shed weight. It was only enough to maintain my weight at 189.

This fall my friend told me about the Happy Juice she’d been drinking. I decided to give it a try. It took about a month for my body to adjust, but when it did –WOW! At this point I’ve been able to go 4 days without taking insulin, which I was taking before every meal!

And, in the last three weeks I’ve dropped 12 pounds! Yay! I’m so happy with the results! And if that wasn’t enough, the brain fog has cleared up AND I’m more energetic! I feel better than I’ve felt in many years! I’m so grateful that my friend shared her Happy Juice with me! And I’m super-excited to do my next weigh-in!
